Ebony (Gaboon)Log Segments: $6.50/lbWe have over 21,000 lbs of Ebony log segments in stock in our Athens, GA location. These sections of heartwood are irregularly shaped and can weigh from 10 lbs to 220 lbs for each piece. They are often about 3 feet long and various and irregular diameters. All pieces appear to be either Grade A or Select (Ebony has its own grading system) with either extremely little or no brown (sap) wood . Dimensional Lumber: $55/bf We have a small amount of dimensional Ebony lumber, typically 3 wide by 1 thick by 24 long (but varying widely). |

These kiln-dried boards are free of sap wood and have a beautiful dark brown color with blackish veining and a tight grain. The boards are all between 82 and 86 in length, rough planed to 1 1/16 thick, and various widths between 4 and 14 (typical width is 7). |
